According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Bloomberg, hardware wallet manufacturer onekey announced the revocation of the product distribution authorization with Malaysian retailer cryptobilis due to a series of theft incidents involving ledger wallets sold through that channel. On-chain research firm yfarmx estimates that the total amount stolen could be as high as $103 million, although this figure has not yet been confirmed by ledger. cryptobilis suspended all sales and deliveries of its hardware wallets in Malaysia, the Philippines, and Indonesia on October 10th. onekey stated that although no reports of users being affected have been received yet, it will still fully revoke the authorization with cryptobilis and offer free replacements for users who purchased devices through this channel between March 1st and October 12th.
