In his latest social media post, he warned that the sharp decline in the South Korean stock market could have a negative impact on the crypto market and may trigger further selling of Ethereum. He stated that a significant drop in the South Korean stock market could affect the crypto market, especially considering that South Korean investors hold a large share of the crypto asset market, and the market is vulnerable to financial contagion. Lee noted that the South Korean stock market fell by more than 6% on October 13 due to the selling of technology and semiconductor stocks. The market crash was so severe that the South Korean exchange had to take emergency market stabilization measures.
