CoinMeta data: According to U.Today, Ripple Treasury recently issued another 20 million US dollars worth of RLUSD stablecoins. With the increase in institutional activity, the issuance volume of RLUSD has reached a new high. According to the Ripple stablecoin tracker, another 1.96 million RLUSD tokens were recently minted, in addition to the previous 19 million RLUSD tokens. In these two transactions, a total of 38.6 million RLUSD tokens were minted, and there were also several burnings, amounting to 13 million, 18 million, and 19.6 million RLUSD tokens respectively, resulting in a net burning of 12 million tokens. The burnings occurred on the XRP ledger, while the minting took place on Ethereum. Currently, the market value of RLUSD is approximately 2.42 billion US dollars, continuing to maintain a peg of 1 US dollar. The recent news about the minting came after Standard Chartered Bank released significant information regarding RLUSD; the bank officially launched its institutional custody service for RLUSD on October 12th.
