According to CoinMeta, the decentralized perpetual contract trading platform standx has announced that, after evaluating its business and market conditions, it has decided to cease issuing platform tokens and will gradually shut down its operations. Since its mainnet launch in November 2025, the platform has served over 237,000 users, with a TVL peak of more than 200 million US dollars. According to the plan, the platform will stop all profit distributions on October 15th; from October 20th, only closing positions will be allowed for perpetual contracts. All open positions will be closed by January 15, 2027, and applications for DUSD redemption and asset withdrawals will also be discontinued by January 31st. As compensation, standx will use the remaining project income and additional contributions from the team to conduct a one-time DUSD airdrop to the community.
