CoinMeta data: According to Polymarket data, traders' expectation that the Federal Reserve will maintain interest rates unchanged at its meeting on October 27-28 has dropped to 73%, while the probability of a 25-basis-point rate hike is 27%. This probability comes from the October contract on Polymarket, with trading volume exceeding 41.5 million US dollars. Earlier snapshots showed that at 07:53 on October 15 on UTC, the probability of maintaining interest rates unchanged was 75.5%. In addition, September's PPI inflation data rose to 6.3%, higher than the expected 5.3%. The market expects the Fed's decision to affect borrowing costs, which in turn will impact Treasury yields, the demand for the US dollar, and risk assets.
