CoinMeta data: According to Coinpaper, on October 15th, the declines of smaller cryptocurrencies such as Raydium, Zcash, Lighter, LIT, and Starknet all exceeded 12%, while Bitcoin remained around $81,000. Based on Invezz data, the total market value of the crypto market fell by about 3.7% within 24 hours, dropping to $2.7 trillion. The more significant decline of smaller cryptocurrencies compared to Bitcoin reflects that, under market pressure, speculative traders tend to quickly withdraw from higher-risk investments. Raydium is a decentralized exchange token related to Solana; it recently experienced a decline of over 12%, losing back about 170% of its gains from the past three months. Zcash also faced similar pressure, with its price falling from $1,650 in September to $1,100, during which time leveraged positions worth approximately 20 million dollars were liquidated. This decline is related to U.S. inflation data exceeding expectations, and there are concerns in the market that the Federal Reserve may continue with its tight monetary policy.
