According to CoinMeta, Solana's Accelerate China tour encountered problems in Shanghai, with police reportedly appearing at the event site, resulting in the suspension of the event. On October 16th, attendees noticed that there were about eight to nine law enforcement officers on site, and some participants were prevented from entering for over an hour. Organizers subsequently notified registered guests that the morning event was postponed due to "logistical arrangements," but no alternative time was immediately announced. Neither the Solana Foundation nor Chinese authorities have publicly confirmed that regulatory authorities ordered the cessation of the event. CZ, co-founder of Binance, commented on this by saying, "It's regrettable to see that they seem to really not be aware of local policies." He also mentioned that a similar incident occurred in Shenzhen less than a year ago. Shanghai was originally scheduled to be the first stop of the Accelerate China tour, with subsequent events planned for Hangzhou, Shenzhen, and Beijing. The official website still lists these events as upcoming. Whether the interruption of this Shanghai event will affect the progress of subsequent events will become an important indicator of whether Solana's expansion strategy will face greater regulatory issues.
