Foreign media reports that discussions regarding the next move of XRP have heated up again. Analyst Celal Kucuker believes that XRP has entered the price range he had previously anticipated. If it breaks through the current consolidation structure, the short-term target could be 2.2 US dollars. This judgment has also led to renewed market discussions about the upward potential of XRP within 2026.
The focus range falls around $2.2.
The judgment of Kucuker is mainly based on chart patterns. He believes that after a previous round of rapid upward movement, XRP is currently consolidating within a converging range, and the current price has approached the level he is closely monitoring.

According to him, if XRP breaks out of this range upwards, a new upward trend could begin. The breakout target indicated on his chart is around $2.1743; if that pattern fails, another lower reference point on the chart is around $1.3768.
He stated on social media that it is “not surprising” that XRP has approximately 60% upside potential in the short term, with a rise to $2.2.
More aggressive targets once pointed to $4
This is not the first time that Kucuker has made an optimistically inclined judgment this year. He previously stated that if the two-week K-line, which started on August 31st, can remain above one of the upward trend lines on its chart, XRP could even set a new historical high within this year.
In this longer-term scenario, he once listed $4 as a more aggressive target level. At the same time, he also mentioned that if momentum continues to build, XRP could also reach $2.5 relatively quickly.
There are obvious differences in market judgments.
However, not all in the market are bullish. Another analyst, Anthony Di Pizio, reminds that XRP experienced a significant decline in 2018, and the current trend does not rule out a repetition of such a scenario.
According to his more pessimistic projections, if historical patterns recur, the price of XRP could even drop to around $0.18, rather than rising to $2.2 or higher. He also noted that such historical comparisons do not necessarily mean that the outcomes will repeat, but they are sufficient to serve as a warning.
From the current situation, the core disagreement surrounding XRP remains: whether the price will break through the current range upwards or continue to weaken after consolidation. Next, whether XRP can break away from the existing fluctuation range remains the focus of market observation.
