IT News on September 28th: At the 2026 OnePlus Gaming Conference, the OnePlus 16 was officially announced to be released on October 12th, offering a gaming experience of 185FPS.
IT learned from the conference site that the first batch of OnePlus 16 phones are equipped with the sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 Super Elite Edition, paired with a brand-new gaming core, which is pre-programmed into the chip at the factory level.
The brand-new generation of "Fengchi Game Kernel" has seen a comprehensive upgrade at the underlying technical level:
- Supports 185 FPS full frames indefinitely, native 185FPS full frames indefinitely, and industry-exclusive 185FPS with zero additional latency and overframes, enabling control over various mainstream games and providing a full-frame experience for games at all settings.
- DLSS4 Contemporary experience with super-frame technology, allowing mobile games that do not support 185FPS to also run at a stable 185FPS, significantly improving the game frame rate and greatly reducing the power consumption of super-framing.
In addition, the OnePlus 16 phone will be equipped with a new self-developed "e-sports triple-core" chipset:
