On September 27th, during the 10th Pingyao International Film Festival, ByteDance's Volcano Engine officially launched the Seedance film and television cooperation plan. This plan will provide Token subsidies, promotional resources, as well as technical and tool support for professional film and television projects around the world, with incentives for individual projects reaching up to one million RMB.

Film Participation Requirements:

• Unfinished films: Entries are welcome during the preparation and production stages of the film; completed films that have already been produced will not be accepted.
• In-depth use of Seedance: The entire video generation process is 100% implemented by Seedance, with the model deeply involved in the creation.
• Scene Breakthrough: Emphasis is placed on supporting projects that deeply integrate AI with traditional film and television production, achieving innovative breakthroughs in production methods and work processes.

In July this year, ByteDance launched the Seedance 2.5 video AI model in China, continuing from the Seedance 2.0 unified multimodal audio-video joint generation architecture. The main focus of Seedance 2.5 is to increase the maximum video generation duration from 15 seconds to 30 seconds, and it also supports multiple rounds of extension. According to the official statement, this model can organize multiple logically connected shots within 30 seconds, allowing stories to unfold in a manner that includes setup, progression, twists, and conclusion.
