IT News on October 6th: Technology media MacRumors published a blog post today (October 6th), in which by analyzing code updates from macOS to Beta, it was discovered that Apple may be preparing for its first touch-screen device, which is expected to be named MacBook Ultra after its release.

IT reported citing a blog post that the media found Apple may have already begun preparing for software adaptation, and added code related to touch gestures in applications such as Safari, Photos, Notes, Quick Look, etc.:
- macOS Version 27.2 Safari Added touch sentinel recognition ( touch sentinel recognizer );
- Photo apps have incorporated PXGTouchDwellGestureRecognizer;
- Memo app has added ICTouchPressGestureRecognizer;
- Quick Look introduces the drag-and-drop touch control feature.
However, the media also pointed out that the aforementioned code does not necessarily refer solely to Apple's first touch MacBook; there is also a possibility that it could be used to expand the "Siri Together" ( Sidecar ) feature. This feature was introduced in 2019 with the macOS , Catalina , and iPad OS 13, allowing users to connect their iPad wirelessly or via cable to the second display screen of the Mac device, in order to expand the desktop space or create a mirrored display.
