The largest single-day outflow of Bitcoin in the United States since June has occurred, amounting to $485 million.
U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (EFTs) saw a net outflow of $484.9 million on Wednesday, reversing the net inflow of $118.8 million on Tuesday.
According to the data from Farside Investors, this is the largest single-day outflow since June 25th; at that time, these funds saw an outflow of 691.7 million US dollars.
On Wednesday, outflows erased the $321.6 million in net inflows recorded during the first four trading days of October, causing Bitcoin ETF to turn into a net outflow of approximately $163 million this month.
In the outflows on Wednesday, BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ( IBIT ) led the way with a net outflow of $207.7 million; Fidelity's FBTC had a net outflow of $105.1 million, and 21Shares' ARKB had a net outflow of $101.7 million. IBIT had recorded a net inflow of $122 million the previous day.
According to CoinGecko data, the Bitcoin trading price on Thursday was close to $82,700, with a decline of about 2% in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, the US spot Ethereum ETF recorded a net outflow of $160.9 million, marking the seventh consecutive trading day of capital outflows.
According to the data from Farside Investors, since September 29th, Ethereum funds have seen a total outflow of approximately $569 million. Among them, BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust ( ETHA ) accounted for $116.1 million of the outflow on Wednesday, while Grayscale's Ethereum Trust ( ETHE ) had an outflow of $25.8 million.
