These updates were announced at the latest semi-annual “Keynote with Ben” press conference on Bybit. The theme of this event was “Make Your Move”. During the conference, discussions were held on the trends of integration in the financial market and the company's strategic approach to adapting to these changes. Unlike previous conferences which took place in studios, this event was conducted with the participation of live audiences. Ben also engaged in discussions with invited guests about the changes in the financial landscape, new technologies, and products that will drive the development of Bybit in the next phase.

Four years into entering traditional finance: Stock trading is now available, and mStocks is about to be launched.

Bybit entered the traditional finance sector in 2022 through differential contracts (CFD). Four years later, Bybit indicated that the company had become the largest crypto CFD platform, with peak trading volume reaching 100 billion US dollars.

On October 12th, the company further expanded its traditional market business by launching stock trading services to eligible users. Users can trade over 1,000 American stocks and ETF. They can use USDC for trading and are also able to conduct fractional share transactions. The trading hours cover 5 days a week and 24 hours a day, including pre-market, regular trading, and post-market sessions for U.S. stocks.

Bybit is still collaborating with Mantle to develop mStocks, which is scheduled to be launched in November. This tokenized stock product is intended to be backed by real stocks at a 1:1 ratio. Bybit plans to support eligible stocks for mutual conversion with mStocks on the platform around the clock, and decentralized exchange trading will be supported by automated market makers (AMM) in the liquidity pool through Mantle. According to the applicable terms and conditions, the converted mStocks is also expected to be able to be transferred into Bybit's unified trading account (UTA) for use as trading collateral.

Bybit launched IPO Express in June, allowing eligible users to participate in some IPO opportunities at the issue price, in the form of tokenization of the underlying securities. This service takes SpaceX as its initial project, aiming to extend the service scope of Bybit from secondary market trading to some primary market opportunities.

The latest progress is built upon the foundation established by Bybit earlier in expanding perpetual contracts, pre-market products, foreign exchange, and options services. Its traditional financial products currently cover over 600 varieties, including stocks, ETF, indices, commodities, and foreign exchange. Bybit indicates that the cumulative trading volume of traditional financial perpetual products has exceeded 180 billion US dollars. Recent additions to the product lineup include foreign exchange perpetual contracts and perpetual options, the latter being referred to as the industry's first options product constructed based on traditional financial perpetual contracts.

Bybit is still continuing to develop new sustainable products that link AI's computing power with commodities, further expanding its range of tools beyond the traditional crypto market.

Extend the platform to the payment sector

In addition to trading and investment, Bybit has also expanded its payment infrastructure to help customers transfer funds more flexibly. Bybit Pay and Bybit Card support cryptocurrency and fiat currency transfers, merchant payments, as well as daily consumption.

The service is currently connected to over 5,000 merchants in more than 15 countries, and supports transfers to bank accounts and electronic wallets, as well as QR code payments and other payment services. Bybit has issued over 4 million Bybit Card, extending the platform's use cases from financial markets to payments and consumption.

Security and Regulatory Infrastructure

With business expansion, Bybit has also increased its investment in security, compliance, and technical infrastructure.

Bybit indicates that in the first half of 2026, the company intercepted over 30,000 suspicious withdrawal requests, helping users avoid potential losses of over 700 million US dollars.

Bybit also indicates that in 2026, the company obtained 5 new licenses and regulatory approvals in the European Union, the Cayman Islands, Indonesia, South Africa, and El Salvador. These regulatory advancements support the company's expansion into different markets while complying with local requirements.

The company launched Bybit AI in September as a conversational assistant for covering transactions, account management, and customer support. In the future, there are also plans to continue developing it around the platform's broader range of financial services.

Bybit, Co-Founder and CEO, stated: "The core of Bybit is to provide the necessary speed and scale when you 'Make Your Move'. We have already integrated transactions, investments, payments, and AI, and we will continue to add more markets and more ways of use. The platform is now built. The focus now is to give people financial freedom to act on their own."

Build a platform that goes beyond exchanges

Four years after entering the traditional finance sector, Bybit has now integrated the crypto market with stocks, ETF, derivatives, commodities, foreign exchange, certain IPO opportunities, payment services, and AI-driven solutions. The company is increasingly focusing on consolidating these capabilities within a single platform, while continuing to expand market access, product depth, and the infrastructure that supports them.

For Bybit, the development of The New Financial Platform represents the next stage of growth for it to take on a broader role in the global financial markets beyond its encryption business.
