EasyA is a platform used for building blockchain and artificial intelligence applications. As it prepares to go public directly in the first half of next year, it has received an independent valuation of $1.1 billion.
The company has submitted a registration draft to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), however, this valuation does not guarantee the price that investors will pay when its shares begin trading.
Co-founder and CEO EasyA said in an interview with CoinDesk on Tuesday that the platform, which helps developers build blockchain and artificial intelligence applications, has a valuation of $1.1 billion as it prepares to go public in the first half of next year.
EasyA has submitted a registration draft to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The company stated that it has completed a two-year audit conducted by the accounting firm PDF and has received an independent valuation based on its financial performance and growth prospects. This valuation does not necessarily represent the price that investors will pay when the EasyA shares begin trading.
The planned listing will enable public market investors to access a company that helps blockchain networks and artificial intelligence firms attract developers and build applications. It will also test investors' interest in companies that provide infrastructure and services for these industries, rather than in cryptocurrencies or artificial intelligence models themselves.
Phil Kwok said, "Since we are going to go public, and that is through a direct listing, it naturally means that we need an independent valuation." He explained that the figure of $1.1 billion was determined by a third party based on audited financial statements, operational performance, growth plans, and comparisons with listed companies.

EasyA indicates that its application has over 1.3 million users, ranging from software developers to people who use AI tools to create applications. The company collaborates with enterprises such as Ripple and Solana, helping them introduce their technology to developers through educational projects and hackathons.

Tokenized stocks are attracting the attention of large financial institutions. Robinhood has developed a blockchain for tokenized stocks, and analysts expect that SEC's work in tokenized securities will bring opportunities to brokers, custodian institutions, and blockchain infrastructure providers. EasyA has not yet disclosed how its proposed tokenized shares will be issued or traded.
EasyA is still expanding beyond the developer community through EasyA Labs, which is undertaking tokenization projects as well as applications involving AI agents.
Walden Yan participated in its early hackathons, and later they jointly founded Cognition A. This company developed Devin AI coding proxies. Yan is one of the more prominent developers in the EasyA ecosystem; after leading a $2 billion financing round in Andreessen Horowitz and Accel, the valuation of his company reached approximately $48 billion.

EasyA is also expanding through EasyA Labs, which is in the process of developing tokenization projects as well as applications involving AI agents.
