The latest upgrade is built upon the AI function that directly integrates iLEVEL, helping to automate data-intensive workflows and allowing users to gain insights into their portfolios through natural language search. In addition, the MCP servers of iLEVEL enable customers to connect their iLEVEL data and functions with Copilot and Claude among other AI tools, allowing them to use iLEVEL more flexibly within their chosen AI tools and intelligent agent workflows, while maintaining the existing iLEVEL permissions and access control.

Kelly McGeehan, the head of marketing and regulation at Enterprise Solutions under S& P Global Market Intelligence, stated: "Private equity market companies are increasingly in need of interconnected data, analytics, and work processes to help them operate more efficiently and make decisions with greater confidence. We are integrating various capabilities within S& P Global's private equity market ecosystem, and iLEVEL plays a crucial role in connecting customer data and work processes with the analytics, valuation, and AI capabilities they require, helping them to make more informed decisions."

  • iLEVEL embeds AI and connects with AI: iLEVEL directly integrates the platform's AI functions, including native iLEVEL and Agent, as well as AI-driven data ingestion, natural language search, and other intelligent workflows. Apart from iLEVEL, the platform's MCP servers are designed to help users integrate governed and verified iLEVEL data and functions into third-party AI applications and agent workflows. Together, these capabilities allow customers to use AI directly within iLEVEL or bring trusted iLEVEL data into their preferred AI environments.
  • Integrated valuation: The enhanced integration between iLEVEL and S& P Global Private Market Valuations simplifies the documentation and data exchange required for third-party valuation opinions, and allows for direct delivery of results within iLEVEL. Customers can use self-service software for valuation or outsource the process to S& P Global experts.
  • Private Lending and Contract Monitoring: iLEVEL supports private lending investment workflows, including contract monitoring, to help investment teams monitor compliance with the terms of credit agreements and identify potential signs of deterioration and newly emerging risks in the portfolio.
  • Extended Performance Analysis: Earlier this year, following the launch of performance analyses for S& P Global, Cambridge Associates, and Mercer (businesses under Marsh), the relevant datasets have been further expanded in collaboration with contributions from the fields of private credit, physical assets, and private equity GP. iLEVEL plays an important role in advancing these analyses by standardizing, aggregating, and anonymizing the GP data.

These connections cover Capital IQ, insights, WSO, Outreach360 stakeholder engagement, risk and reputation screening, as well as CLM Pro transaction lifecycle workflows.

These upgrades have propelled S& P Global's broader private market strategy, integrating data, valuation, analysis, benchmarks, and workflow solutions throughout the entire investment lifecycle.

iLEVEL has over 15 years of experience serving more than 700 private equity firms worldwide, supporting workflows throughout the entire lifecycle of private equity market transactions. It simplifies data collection, portfolio analysis, valuation, peer comparison, capital structure analysis, and reporting. Lever Talent Research finds: 45% of medium-sized enterprises do not have a designated person in charge to coordinate collaboration between humans and AI
Lever Talent released the "Collaborative Intelligent Workforce Report: 2026 Baseline," which states that among 484 executives from medium-sized companies in the United States and Canada surveyed, 45% of the companies do not have a single person responsible for coordinating the collaboration between humans and AI; companies that have a primary person in charge are more likely to consider AI to be "extremely valuable." The report also points out that although the adoption rate of AI is high, the perceived value is still low, and companies that invest simultaneously in technology, projects, and personnel are more likely to achieve higher value.
