BlackRock IBIT experiences the largest outflow of Bitcoin ETF funds since June
As spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) listed in the United States (ETF) continued to experience capital outflows at the start of November, BlackRock's iShares and Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) recorded their largest daily capital outflows since June on Monday.
According to the data from Farside Investors, these funds had a total net outflow of $398.6 million on that day, among which IBIT had an outflow of $405.3 million, ranking first.
This is the largest single-day outflow for IBIT since June 26th, when investors withdrew $444.5 million. Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund ( FBTC ) attracted $6.7 million in capital inflows on Monday, which partially offset the overall outflow.
Previously, US spot Bitcoin ETF recorded a net outflow of $515 million in October. So far, these funds have accumulated a net outflow of approximately $38 million in 2026.
The CEO of the tokenization company Brickken, Edwin Mata, stated in a comment released on Monday: "I would not interpret the outflow of these funds as investors rejecting digital assets. As uncertainty increases, investors will reduce their exposure, especially after certain events have raised doubts about the security of market infrastructure."
At the time of this capital withdrawal, the crypto market experienced increased volatility overall, following Binance's遭受 of a $6.3 billion hacker attack.
According to CoinGecko data, Bitcoin fell below $76,400 on Monday, reaching its lowest level since August. At the time of publication, this cryptocurrency was trading at around $76,600, having declined by 3.7% over the past seven days.
According to SoSoValue data, US spot Ethereum (ETH) also recorded a net outflow of approximately $140 million on Monday; following a record monthly net outflow of $1.61 billion in October, the consecutive days of net outflows for such funds has extended to 6 days.
