According to CoinMeta, Ledger tweeted that the investigation into distributor Cryptobilis's incident is still ongoing, and the company is cooperating with relevant authorities. The number of affected devices is limited. To date, all confirmed cases related to the asset transfer incident disclosed on October 9, 2026, involve devices sold through the Southeast Asian distributor Cryptobilis; systems and direct sales channels have not been affected. Cryptobilis has confirmed that it has stopped selling all hardware wallets. Ledger reminds users not to purchase from unauthorized channels, and authorized distributors are not allowed to restock returned products. For buyers of Cryptobilis, if the device has not been initialized, do not initialize it; if it has already been set up, the seeds should be migrated to a new device purchased from Ledger.
