Veeva DQS has cleaned data for over 1 million participants and more than 1,000 studies.
Automated data verification saves clinical teams a significant amount of cost, time, and effort.
Barcelona, Spain, October 6th / PRNewswire / -- Veeva Systems (New York Stock Exchange ticker: VEEV) announced today that Veeva DQS ( Data Quality System, a data quality system) has aggregated and cleaned data from over 1 million participants across more than 1,000 studies, in order to accelerate the delivery of data and trial insights that can be used directly for analysis. Veeva stated that with the help of over 500,000 automated queries, Veeva DQS has saved thousands of hours of data verification work for research centers and sponsors.
"A key area of focus for us is how to handle the increasing volume of data that comes with the growth in the number of clinical trials," said Vice President Ibrahim Kamstrup - Akkaoui. "Veeva DQS can help us manage, format, clean, and prepare this data more efficiently for submission."
Veeva indicates that Veeva DQS supports the next generation of clinical data management and has made the necessary progress in adopting the risk-based strategies recommended in regulatory guidelines, including ICH E6 ( R3 ). The innovative features that Veeva DQS is about to launch can help clinical teams:
- Faster access to high-quality data: Veeva DQS automated data workflows classify and visualize critical data, facilitating risk-based action orchestration throughout the clinical ecosystem, while eliminating the need for manual data verification.
- Supports risk-based quality management ( RBQM ): The automatic data exchange between Veeva DQS and Veeva CTMS allows for immediate alerts to clinical operations teams to pay attention to key data changes, such as deviations from the plan, and enables clinical data teams to calculate, track, and manage key risk indicators ( KRI ).
- Classify with the help of data perception and user perception AI: Veeva DQS is embedded into AI to accelerate the classification of research data and understand its purpose and significance. This enables the system to generate reports, lists, or test scripts, among other items, and to provide customized user experiences and workflows based on roles.
"As the number of data sources increases and the complexity of solutions rises, applicants and CRO are using Veeva DQS to automate data workflows on a large scale in studies of various sizes," said Pavel Burmenko, the strategic leader of Veeva DQS. " Veeva DQS is leading the way in next-generation data management, which represents a new level of clinical data innovation. It orchestrates risk-based reviews and elevates the role of data managers to that of strategic partners."
Veeva recently announced that Study Builder Agent can directly configure Veeva EDC and Veeva DQS according to the research plan, thereby enabling faster and more consistent research setup. Veeva also stated that for more information on Study Builder Agent, SCDM Innovation Award, Veeva DQS, and how biopharmaceutical companies are driving clinical data innovation, attendees can learn more at the Veeva R &D and Quality Summit to be held in Boston from October 20th to 21st.
