Hyderabad, India, October 6, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Global Lifecycle Engineering Services company Cyient Limited announces the establishment of a new integrated business unit to accelerate its technology-driven growth: Intelligent Engineering Solutions ( IES ). IES aims to enhance the company's ability to transform current technical capabilities into customer value, while also building technologies that will shape the future.

IES adopts a platform-centered AI operation model, integrating data, profound industry knowledge, and business scenarios throughout the lifecycle engineering process. With the support of the Cyient Lifecycle Engineering Intelligent Platform CYiNGINE, it connects technical expertise with clear, consistent, and measurable global customer outcomes.

This business unit will cover the entire lifecycle from planning and design to operation, including managing customers' AI technology stack. Three sets of reusable operation manuals, powered by AI, cover the engineering, service, as well as quality and regulatory lifecycles, and are supported by software development empowered by data engineering, analytics, and AI. CYiNGINE provides a unified platform, data foundation, and outcome measurement framework.

Business outcomes delivered through CYiNGINE

CYiNGINE combines governed industrial data, knowledge in the engineering field, as well as modern AI and LLM technology stacks to embed AI into engineering workflows, and transforms these three sets of operation manuals into measurable outcomes:

  • Engineering Lifecycle – Faster design and change cycles, higher first-time success rates, and greater reuse of engineering intellectual property.
  • Service Lifecycle – Leveraging AI for auxiliary diagnostics, predictive maintenance, and automated service knowledge to improve asset availability and reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Quality and Regulatory Lifecycle – Accelerate certification and compliance through continuous, auditable traceability, and reduce rework and regulatory risks.

These results are delivered through a unified platform and are measured by the customer's KPI, supporting a long-term, result-based cooperation model.

IES will proceed along the path of 'Exploration > Construction > Scaling > Delivery Impact', transforming technological innovation into customer outcomes.

Cyient, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, Sukamal Banerjee stated: "Our pursuit of AI is not for AI itself, but to bring tangible business results to our customers. This means rethinking how AI can enter core engineering disciplines, as well as how customers can adopt AI in the way they design, manufacture, and serve products. Intelligent Engineering Solutions is how we bring this ambition together, which also reflects our commitment to research and development, partnerships, and talent investment; these will define the next chapter of Cyient."

IES will be led by Cyient's Chief Commercial Officer, Harjott Atrii. Over the past few months, he has helped to shape Cyient's data, AI, and technical capabilities, which are now integrated under the new business unit.

Harjott Atrii means: "What our customers purchase is not AI, but results. What we bring is difficult to replicate: decades of depth in the engineering field, governed industrial data, and the trust that our customers have placed in us to access their most critical workflows. CYiNGINE integrates data, domain expertise, and AI technology stacks into a single execution layer, and our three sets of operation manuals transform this into results that customers can measure—faster engineering cycles, higher asset availability, and faster regulatory approvals. This is how Cyient intends to shift from project-based relationships to long-term, result-oriented partnerships in the field of industrial engineering."

This move strengthens the company's positioning as a partner in lifecycle engineering services, combining its engineering capabilities with data, AI, and technology to support customers from engineering and development all the way to deployment and operation.
