In terms of ecosystem and total value locked (TVL), Ethereum reigns supreme, accounting for more than half of DeFi's TVL. However, its performance in the last bull market was mediocre. Shouldn't it be time for the king to return this time?
1. ETH - 56.9%
2. SOL - 6.7%
3. BNB - 5.8%
4. Tron - 4.9%
5. Base - 4.3%
6. BTC - 4.9%
7. Hype - 1.8%
8. Provenancefdn - 1.8%
9. Arbitrum - 2.1%
10. Polygon - 1.3%

Ethereum's Level 2 network TVL has fallen to approximately $5 billion, returning to 2023 levels and essentially erasing the growth since 2024. Optimistic Rollups such as Optimism, Base, and Arbitrum still dominate, with a combined TVL of approximately $4.8 billion, accounting for 96% of the total. Meanwhile, while traditional financial institutions are adopting Ethereum, they are also beginning to shift to other public chains, weakening their institutional narrative; stablecoins remain the main support, with USDC and USDT settlement activities still primarily concentrated on Ethereum and its Level 2. Four weeks after its mainnet launch, Robinhood Chain's transaction fee revenue surpassed Base, Polygon, and was approximately six times that of Arbitrum One—and it's built on Arbitrum's proprietary blockchain technology.
Thanks to @tokenterminal for the information.

Lately, I've increasingly felt that with so many on-chain opportunities, the biggest problem might not be discovering them anymore.
It's discovering them, only to find your money is still on another chain.
Today, a hot topic suddenly appears on Solana, tomorrow it's Base or BNB Chain's turn, and a couple of days later, Arbitrum or Ethereum becomes active again.
By the time you find a bridge, switch networks, prepare gas, and transfer your assets, the market may have already moved a bit.
////////////////////////////
Recently, I've been following Velvet (@Velvet_Capital) and I'm particularly interested in its progress in cross-chain transactions.
Currently, Velvet has integrated with multiple networks including BNB Chain, Solana, Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Robinhood Chain.
Users can take assets from one chain and directly trade tokens on another chain.
For example, if your funds are originally on Solana, Base, or BNB Chain, but you want to participate in native assets on Arbitrum, the entire process no longer requires you to find a cross-chain bridge, exchange your assets for gas on the target chain, and then open a separate trading page.
Cross-chain functionality, routing, and trading are all integrated into a single operational path.
///////////////////////////
This may seem like reducing a few steps, but the impact on on-chain transactions is quite direct.
Currently, hot topics shift rapidly, and funds cannot be evenly distributed across every chain.
Previously, to seize opportunities, many people would pre-deploy assets on different networks.
This is convenient, but the funds are too fragmented, and when you actually need them, they may not be on the hottest chain.
Velvet @Velvet_Capital's approach allows a single fund to follow opportunities.
It moves liquidity wherever there are trading opportunities.
///////////////////////////
Therefore, I believe the real challenge in multi-chain transactions is no longer simply supporting a certain number of networks.
Velvet @Velvet_Capital is currently focusing on seamlessly integrating opportunity discovery, capital mobilization, and transaction completion.
For traders, fewer page switching is certainly more convenient.
But the real value lies in ensuring your funds arrive promptly when a hot topic suddenly shifts to a different chain.

Robinhood Chain became the blockchain with the most stock token holders within a month of its launch.
This didn't happen overnight.
Robinhood spent over a decade building its retail platform, and now it's finally extending it on-chain.
Powered by @arbitrum and @ethereum.

The market capitalization of tokenized funds on the Arbitrum One platform has just hit an all-time high: $700 million.
This growth was primarily driven by demand for EUTBL from @Spiko_finance and institutional demand for sUSDai from @USDai_Official.
The programmable economy is booming.
