Can Bitcoin: Native hold the $64,500 level, or will it head straight for the $63,170 support level? 👇
1. Leveraged Washout, Not a Trend Breakout
In the past 24 hours, approximately $79.58 million in leveraged cryptocurrency positions were liquidated, while the Bitcoin spot price fluctuated by only 0.05%, and the Ethereum spot price fluctuated by 0.17%. Data shows that this sell-off was triggered by derivatives trading, caused by crowded positions and volatile rotation, rather than a decisive breakout in any direction.
2. Short Liquidation Dominates Headlines
According to aggregated data from CoinGlass, short liquidations amounted to approximately $39.58 million, while long liquidations amounted to approximately $4 million. The actual amount may be higher due to different classification methods used by various exchanges for contract types and liquidation events.
3. Excessive Long Positions on Some Trading Platforms
In the most recent four-hour trading window, total liquidation reached $9.61 million, with Binance leading the way with $5.3 million (55.19%) and 63.79% of long liquidations. Bybit's long liquidation was $1.02 million, accounting for 84.42%; Aster's long liquidation was $539,120, accounting for 91.78%. This indicates that leveraged long positions on these specific trading platforms may have experienced significant intraday volatility.
4. Balanced Liquidation for Bitcoin and Ethereum
Ethereum's 24-hour liquidation reached $38.1 million, while Bitcoin's was $23.74 million. Bitcoin's long liquidation was $638,500, and short liquidation was $563,700; Ethereum's long liquidation was $873,400, and short liquidation was $854,200. This near-balanced market structure suggests that the market is undergoing widespread two-way deleveraging, rather than a one-sided squeeze.
5. Market Signal: Repositioning, Not a Breakout
The divergence between exchange-level data (showing bulls dominating in recent hours) and major asset-level data (showing equilibrium over 24 hours) suggests potential market volatility and crowded positions. The market is shifting towards risk readjustment and position reallocation rather than a decisive breakout. Traders are closely watching whether leverage is rapidly reinstated or released in an orderly manner.

Crypto is slowly permeating everyone's daily lives.
I often use Google to check currency conversions.
I just discovered that Google has included many cryptocurrencies, such as Ethena, Aster, OKB, and River. 👀

USD1's recent moves have reignited market attention on the stablecoin sector.
From ecosystem expansion to Binance support, and Aster introducing USD1 into more trading scenarios, it's attempting to evolve from a simple USD stablecoin into on-chain financial infrastructure.
Many still perceive stablecoins as simply safe-haven assets, but the real value lies in who can become the gateway for on-chain fund flows.
USDT established liquidity in the crypto market, USDC connected institutions, and USD1 aims to capture a different market segment.
Of course, its ultimate value will be validated by its ecosystem and real demand.
But one thing is certain: the stablecoin war has only just begun.

RT @nine_DeFi: The recent secondary market trend is driven by speculative cryptocurrencies again:
$bank has started off well.
Looking at the secondary market chart, it's fairly standard: a pullback followed by a rise on the hourly chart.
The strategy remains the same: hold positions in Aster, then look for competitors when the secondary market rallies.
It seems someone has taken the bait with $bank this time.
My personal opinion: Speculative cryptocurrencies shouldn't be shorted.
The only options are to buy on a pullback or after a flash crash...
